[ Whenever Eula can, she prefers to avoid going into Mondstadt. The people of the city, understandably, are not particularly fond of her, what with her blood branding her a descendant of the corrupted Lawrence clan. Despite her standing as a Captain in the Knights of Favonius - or perhaps, in some cases, because of it, the members of the populace are wary of her, hesitant to engage, often visibly uncomfortable in her presence.
It is for the best, then, that her job takes her outside the city more often than not, whether with the members of the Reconnaissance Company or without.
In the case of this most recent outing, the latter is true; her company is off on other business while Eula has been investigating an exceptionally troublesome group of Abyss Order operatives. The matter is now dealt with, and so on this particular morning, the Spindrift Knight herself arrives back in the city, stepping through the gates onto the cobblestone streets, her greatsword, the Song of Broken Pines, brandished at her side.
Where the way before her was busy, it quickly empties.
The path to her destination clear, Eula sees no reason to delay; her heels click against the stone walkways of the city as, just like always, she makes straight for the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. There is no fanfare, no announcement of her presence, nor enough time for the other knights to react as she breezes past them, opening the door of the Grand Master's office and stepping inside. ]
Acting Grand Masterโ
[ Her voice dies in her throat, and her brows furrow, grip tightening on the hilt of her blade. ]
...Cavalry Captain.
[ At best, it's an acknowledgement of his presence, voice and face carefully controlled to belie the confusion that otherwise might try to write itself over both. ]
