She feels her back stiffen, a cord of anxiety tugging tight all of a sudden, and of course there's the immediate urge to flee, to somehow extract herself from between the wall and the manโ but as he intended, his kiss works to soothe her suddenly-frayed nerves, and after a moment or two she melts to him, returning the kiss as her body starts to quiver once more, no longer from her release but from the fears settling in.
She doesn't, however, run away, not even when she breaks the kiss to look up at him, a trembling smile on her lips and water in the corners of her eyes. ]
