[ Admittedly, Gorou's ears are not the only ones that should be picking up on the fond murmurs around them, directed toward them— the people in question are not exactly being secretive in the way they talk, and their words are perfectly audible even to Kokomi's less-sharp ears. The problem, then, is in the fact that the priestess simply isn't listening to them; over time she has learned to tune out the murmurs and whispers that tend to surround her, a defense mechanism in favor of sustaining her social capabilities just a little longer where they are needed. Between that and the fact that her focus is already split between her companion and the sights and sounds of the festival, she has no hope.

Perhaps it is for the best; she is on edge enough tonight that the addition of admiring whispers would be nothing but another stressor, something to go over one too many times in her mind as she tries to comprehend why the people might think such things of the two of them.

Unfortunately, though, her obliviousness toward the situation does nothing to help it, or help Gorou himself as she turns to him with a smile in her water-deep eyes. The truth is, when it comes to "what catches her eye", she has no idea where to start, simply because, well, everything catches her eye. It's all so different, and her curiosity is as limitless as the sea— But Gorou, she thinks, who spends more time in the city than she does, probably has something of a better idea. After all, he was the one who suggested this outing in the first place, was he not?
