If you start spreading the word I say things that are nice, I'm going to be very disappointed.

[ he murumrs against kaveh's lips, voice perturbed but eyes fond. alhaitham wasn't in the habit of dishing out pleasantries to people, which had become part of his finely crafted persona - but the blonde had managed to become an exception to that rule, demonstrated several times over the past two weeks. again, the architect had managed to drag him out from behind his stoic curtain.

deciding not to think too much on it for once, alhaitham breathes a pleased, low hum into the languid kiss, kaveh's mouth so soft and pleasant while laced with the juxtaposition of the bitter coffee he'd made for him earlier. their arguments were always so draining and difficult, but this, this was so easy, like they were the perfect balance of push and pull, meant to fit together in this satisfying, simple way.

turning his body away from the bar slightly so he could achieve a better angle, the strong arm that was still laced around kaveh's waist tightens slightly so that he could lift the svelte blonde up, pulling him into his lap as if he weighed next to nothing. everything about the other was so airy and carefree, a welcome reprieve to alhaitham's constant stream of analysis and logic, like he was taking in a breath of fresh air for the first time in, well - a long time.

noses brushing against one another, that piercing look is only inches away as the scribe holds kaveh's lithe frame protectively, possesively, and in a deep, hushed voice against his lips, an eyebrow raised; ]


Wanting to do what, Kaveh? You were so forthcoming with details before, it'd be foolish to stop now.
