[It was easy to see from the very start that he was enamoured with her. One of his birth had far more freedom in choosing a romantic partner, not that someone of Lysa's calibre did not make for a good match in any case, and no one could really bat an eye when he finally made a move.

[For all her strength, Lysa uses none of it when he changes the position on her, allowing herself to feel as light as possible in his embrace. Very few people have permission to do that and Haurchefant will always have leave to do so for she feels nothing but safe around him. He was the only one who was open and welcoming during her first foray into Ishgard and for that to bloom into something much more intimate was not expected, but it is absolutely delightful and there will be no complaints here.]

Maybe we can concoct a plan for me to remain here. Apply some gil to a chirurgeon's palm to tell all that I'm susceptible to sickness every time I leave your bed? Perhaps a sudden onset of a serious physical reaction to the wintry winds?

[Not that its too far from the truth. The jungle climes of her former life seem to have cemented themselves as a part she cannot renounce. [Haurchefant knows very well she can overpower him if she wishes to and that really is part of the fun of it. He has earned her softness, though it hadn't been his aim when they had first met and he would have been content to simply be her friend had that been what she desired. [She sighs, both at the truth he's brought into this bed with them and at his gentle touch, arms coming around his neck. As much as Lysa loves adventuring, there are times where being pulled in so many directions to put out wildfires is draining. These few moments of rest, of being tucked under him, safe and warm, are too far and few between and the longer she gets to spend time with him, it seems the less she wants actually leave them behind. Surely Lysa can never say this out loud; people are sure to scold her for thinking that way. Yet she has her occasions and lying about them won't do her much good.

Another sigh is let loose before she arches up to press a kiss along his jawline, followed by a few more down the curve of his throat to punctuate her words.]

But one day, they won't and I do believe in planning ahead for the inevitable, so you might as well begin using that imagination of yours and consider what you'll do with me and all the time in the world.

[He's aware of his position as a place of refuge for her (amongst other things, but that being one of the highest in his opinion) and does not intend to acknowledge the world outside of the doors of his chambers any more than is absolutely necessary right now. They both know she'll have to leave eventually... why spoil things by lingering on that thought overmuch?

Haurchefant would much rather consider that they have all the time in the world.]
