The idea of holding him, taking him, kissing him in the tenderness that Kaveh deserves, is enough to get his mind reeling, to have him gasp 'Pharos' into his neck, against his ear, his hips jutting just a bit harder, needily, like he wants to crawl under the streamer's skin and make it a home.
And then he confesses something so soft, so tender, and even with all the boundaries and limits that Alhaitham had placed himself, he reaches his peak unexpectedly, shivering and tensing all over, a subdued cry muffled against Kaveh's skin as his grip on him seizes strongly.
He's as surprised as he is mindless, coating the lower back of the streamer with his spend, and he pants desperately, trying to grasp for breath, for a means to come up with a decent answer but unable to.]
[ Honestly, he's not expecting much of an answer at all. The words slip from between his lips before he can entirely stop them, and if he were in Euler's shoes, he's not sure he would know what to say.
What he's definitely not expecting though is for the other man to lose himself in that exact moment, grip tightening as he spills over Kaveh's back in a way that has the blonde catching his breath.
And then, Euler is left gasping for breath and it's Kaveh's job to fill the silence he just made, biting down on his lower lip as he presses close. ]
You don't have to say anything about it. [ It's a soft whisper into his hair. ] I just needed you to know, that's all. As long as you don't... you know, hate the idea or anything, then we're fine. Really.
[There's nothing he can say, not now, when his mind is still untethered from his own body, unable to do anything, to say anything as decent and graceful as Pharos deserves, as Pharos needs, andโ
โit's the most frustrating that Alhaitham has ever felt.
So he tugs him close, tight, kisses him hard, before he's out of breath, and curls around him tightly like he can't let go. He shakes his head, still panting.] Just. Give me a moment...
[ He'd like to say that he understands the silence for what it is, that he knows Euler is simply lost for words. And technically it would be true... yet it doesn't stop the worry from sneaking under his skin as the moments stretch between them. Kaveh bites his lower lip, and he's just about to try to find something else to sayโ
but Euler knows him too well it seems, because he's pulled in close and kissed hard, and Kaveh feels his stomach knotting up with anxiety and desire alike.
But he smiles, and nudges his forehead against Euler's. ]
[Cradling him close, pressing himself against Kaveh, he wonders how exaclty he ended up in this predicament. As far as he knows, he only enrolled into a new faculty, he followed and interacted with a streamer's community. It doesn't make sense that he'd end up with said streamer and faculty member under his roof, and clutching at his heartstings so strongly.
It's not logical at all to be suddenly taken into a case of double identity, of secrets and such strong and deep feelings.
Alhaitham rubs their foreheads together, their noses, buries himself into the crook of Kaveh's neck.] I'm not sure how I ended up so lucky.
[ Kaveh knows the answer he wants isn't likely to be the answer Euler gives. The one he gets though is almost as nice, a soft smile forming on his lips as the other's face presses into his neck. Lucky, he says, and Kaveh's heart warms, pounding in his chest. ]
Me... me too, Mister E. I'm really gladโ
[ And, just like last time, there's a knock on the door, a soft voice calling out to them that it's closing time.
Where his heart was warm and pounding, he feels it sink. ]
[At the knock, his arms curl tighter, and he presses his lips to Kaveh's temple. He wishes he'd have more time, or at least, that the momentum wouldn't be ruined so easily.
He nuzzles the blonde strands softly.] Me, too. Next time we should come in earlier.
[And a kiss to his lips, after bringing him up for a small smooch.]We should get cleaned up.
[ In response, Kaveh nods. With how short the nights are here, coming early is probably a good idea. There's also, he thinks, the option of a hotel, now that they trust each other (he hopes; he knows he trusts Euler) to keep their masks in place. But he doesn't bring it up for now. Instead, he returns that kiss softly, and nods.
They clean up quickly and are gone their separate ways before Kaveh would like, with naught but another lingering kiss to seal the memories of the night between them.
By the time he gets home, he's exhausted, aching, and a little sad.
Perhaps it's that last one that has him nudge Alhaitham's door open just a few inches, looking inside quietly at his roommate and landlord curled up in his bed, the shadows darkening what little of his hair he can see. (He sleeps cutely, is Kaveh's distant thought, curled up and cocooned in his covers.)
And he didn't plan this, didn't plan even to look in, but suddenly he finds himself talking to the other's sleeping body. ]
I'm home... and I guess I have a lot to talk with you about, in the morning. I talked with Euler and I told him the truth, that.. mm. I'm in love with him, Alhaitham. But I.. I also have feelings for you. [ He smiles faintly. ] I guess you could call it a crush. And Euler, he... he doesn't mind. He's okay with it if I want to be with both of you. So...
[ Kaveh trails off, as if realizing for the first time he's talking to someone who's asleep. And he chuckles, a soft sound as he cards fingers through his own hair. ]
Sleep well, Haitham. I'll talk to you in the morning.
